Melissa Carone put the name on paper and then said it out loud. On November 8, 2020, she signed a three-page affidavit as Mellissa A. Carone. She swore she had been contracted by Dominion Voting Services to do IT work at Detroit’s TCF Center. Paragraph 4 names her manager. The scanned filing, as later docketed in the Eastern District of Michigan removal, reads: “I confronted my manager, Nick Ikonomakis saying how big of a problem this was, Nick told me he didn’t want to hear that we have a big problem. He told me we are here to do assist with IT work, not to run their election.”
That is her sworn sentence. Not a recap. The same paragraph says she had been called to a jammed tabulator around midnight and “noticed his PC had a number of over 400 ballots scanned- which means one batch was counted over 8 times.” Paragraph 2: “During this time I witnessed nothing but fraudulent actions take place.” Paragraph 10 again calls him “my manager Nick.” Paragraph 11: she “overheard Samuel talking to Nick about losing tons of data,” asked Nick “what was going one,” and “he told me it was all taken care of and not to worry about it.”
She then testified. First, Michigan Senate Oversight, December 1, 2020. Then Michigan House Oversight, December 2, 2020, with Rudy Giuliani in the room. The House session is the one with a full public Rev transcript and timestamps.
I had called my manager over to a specific tabulating machine. I showed him a number on it, which was close to 500. It should never go over 50. Ballots come in batches of 50. I said, “We have a severe problem here, Nick [Ikonomakis],” which is a part owner of Dominion. And he said, “Melissa, I don’t want to hear that we have a problem.” He said, “We are here to assist with IT. We are not here to run their election.” That is exactly what he said to me.

Giuliani asked what was going on. She did not hedge.
He was in on it. He was in on it. They were all in on it.

They were cheating. It was very, very apparent. It was apparent he knew, it was apparent that he was in on it, and when he caught on to me knowing that he was in on it, he just wanted nothing to do with me.

Later in the same sitting she said the Detroit Department of Elections assignment “was an order by my manager, Nick [Ikonomakis], part owner of Dominion. I have it all in emails. I was trained on the adjudication and tabulation process.” That last clause is her training sentence. She said she was trained on adjudication and tabulation. She did not say, in the affidavit or in the Rev House transcript, that Nick trained her “on how to properly cheat.” That phrase is Daniel Harris’s December 1, 2020, tweet — commentary on X, not her words. It stays on the X-rail.
At the Senate hearing the day before, she put Nick and Samuel on the stage with her. The Epoch Times published this as her sentence; a posted video of that Senate appearance carries the same line in its captions: “They were allowed to do whatever they wanted to do. I, Nick, and Samuel, that worked for Dominion, they were on the stage.” She also said there, in the video captions, that she “was with Nick” and that he was her manager. Caption spelling of the surname is garbled. The affidavit spelling, and Rev’s House insert, is Ikonomakis.
What this site will not do: promote her “part owner” line into a title. The documented paper on this file still lists Nick Ikonomakis as Vice President of Engineering — EAC agenda, September 8, 2021; Colorado Deputy Secretary of State letter, May 26, 2023 — and as a named inventor on Dominion-assigned U.S. patents. No ownership primary (stock ledger, SEC officer line, Dominion bio calling him owner) was located this pass. “Part owner” remains her claim in the hearings.
On November 13, 2020, Wayne County Circuit Judge Timothy M. Kenny denied the Costantino plaintiffs’ petition for injunctive relief and wrote that Carone’s “allegations simply are not credible.”
A public court-stamped Byrne / Dar Leaf packet with “pages 75–77” of Ikonomakis emails about admin.enr.dominionvoting.com was not located on the US Dominion v. Patrick Byrne docket this pass.
