Fox’s Summary-Judgment Brief Cited an Ikonomakis Deposition

FACT / BRIEF CITATION — NOT A FINDING

In the civil case Dominion Voting Systems v. Fox News Network, Fox filed an answering brief opposing Dominion’s motion for summary judgment. A public version of that brief — hosted by Just the News as a PDF and also circulated by other outlets as a court document — cites “Ex. E2, Ikonomakis Dep. Tr.” at transcript pages including 66:15–67:1. The brief uses that citation in a passage about customer questions after an article, which Fox characterized as “bad for business.” Those quoted fragments are Fox’s brief writing, pointing at a deposition exhibit. They are not a full transcript published here.

This site has not obtained the complete Ikonomakis deposition. It does not invent his answers. It does not treat a defense brief’s paraphrase as his sworn narrative. A citation in a brief is evidence that a deposition of that name existed in the case file. It is not a court finding about him. It is not a criminal charge. The later Dominion–Fox settlement is a company resolution. It is not a judgment that this engineer flipped votes, and this page does not say that.

Just the News hosting the PDF is not a John Solomon feature article about Ikonomakis. Solomon/JTN Dominion coverage in this pass did not identify this executive as the subject of a dedicated piece. The PDF is listed because it is a real court paper that prints his name.

Anyone who wants his exact words can hunt the transcript. This file will not fabricate them, and it will not turn a “bad for business” fragment into a steal.
