The Google Patents record for U.S. Patent 8,195,505, drawing on USPTO assignment data, shows an application filed May 5, 2005, by Dominion Voting Systems Corp. The same day’s assignment line reads: assigned to DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS; assignors HOOVER, JAMES; IKONOMAKIS, NICK; OBRADOVIC, GORAN; POULOS, JOHN. The application claims priority to Canadian application 2,466,466, filed May 5, 2004. Those are the inventor and assignee names as the patent record prints them.

A later continuation family (see the 2017–2018 patents) lists the same four inventors. Some of those later documents give inventor city data as Toronto, CA, for Ikonomakis. That is what the patent listing says. This site does not invent citizenship, immigration status, or a U.S. office title from a city line.

An assignment is a property document. It is not a campaign. It is not a finding that any later election was tabulated incorrectly. The engineering title “Vice President of Engineering” is not on this 2005 assignment; that title is taken from the 2021 EAC agenda and the 2023 Colorado letter, not back-dated onto this filing.
